Flammable Liquids Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Flammable Liquids Ordinance 1976.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1983.

2. After regulation 2 of the Flammable Liquids Regulations the following

regulations are inserted:

Fees to accompany applications
"2A. Regulation 4 of the adopted Regulations is amended by omitting 'prescribed in Regulation 7' and substituting 'determined under section 34B of the Flammable Liquids Ordinance 1976\

Repeal

(a)	by omitting from paragraph (1) 'a fee of two dollars' and substituting 'the appropriate fee determined under section 34B of the Flammable Liquids Ordinance 1976'; and
(b)	by inserting after paragraph (1) the following paragraph:
'(lA) A type of pump shall not be approved under paragraph (1) unless that type of pump conforms with the requirements of Rule 5.4
of Australian Standard 1940 as published on 1 September 1976.'.".

"2B. Regulation 7 of the adopted Regulations is repealed.".

3. Regulation 4 of the Flammable Liquids Regulations is repealed and the

following regulation substituted:

Approval of pumps

"4. Regulation 23 of the adopted Regulations is amended

Flammable Liquids 1983 No. 12 403

4. The Flammable Liquids Regulations are amended by adding at the end

thereof the following regulations:

Heading

"5. The heading appearing before regulation 48 of the adopted Regulations

is omitted.

Repeal

"6. Regulations 48,48A and 48AA of the adopted Regulations are repealed.

Schedule

"7. The Schedule to the adopted Regulations is amended—

(a)	by omitting from the directions contained in Form B 'the prescribed fee, as set out in Regulation T and substituting 'the appropriate fee'; and
(b)	by omitting from Form C' , $4.50per annum'.".
