Regulations under the Flammable Liquids Ordinance 1976'

I, ROBERT JAMES ELLICOTT, the Minister of State for the Capital Ter­ ritory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Flammable Liquids Ordinance 1976.

FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS REGULATIONS

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Flammable Liquids Regulations.

Definition

2. In these Regulations, "adopted Regulations" means the regulations adopted by sub-section 4 (1) of the Flammable	Liquids Ordinance 1976.
Repeal

3. Regulation 20 of the adopted Regulations is repealed.

Approval of pumps

4. Regulation 23 of the adopted Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (1) the following paragraph:

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

" ( lA) A type of pump shall not be approved under paragraph (1) unless that type of pump conforms with the requirements of Rule 5.4 of Australian Standard 1940 as published on 1 September 1976.".
