1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Fishing Levy Amendment Regulations 2000 (No. 3).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

3Amendment of Fishing Levy Regulations 1999

Schedule 1 amends the Fishing Levy Regulations 1999.

18.1Definition

 In this Part:

STR fishing permit means a fishing permit for the South Tasman Rise Fishery.

18.2Amount of levy

 For section 6 of the Levy Act, the amount of levy for an STR fishing permit in force at the commencement of this regulation is $3 000.

18.3When levy must be paid

 For section 110 of the Management Act, levy for an STR fishing permit must be paid on or before the later of:

• (a)

  10 November 2000; and

• (b)

  28 days after the invoice date for the levy.
