2 Fishing Industry (Closed Waters—Fish or Marine Products) Amendment (No. 1) No. 479, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Fishing Industry (Closed Waters—Fish or Marine Products) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Fishing Industry (Closed Waters—Fish or Marine Products) Regulation 1989 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.2 (Closed waters) 3. Section 2— insert— ‘(2) However, the waters described in column 2 are not closed to an Aborigine or Torres Strait Islander taking or keeping fish or marine products under Aboriginal tradition or Island custom. ’. ˙ Insertion of new s.3 4. After section 2— insert— ˙ ‘Expiry of section and serial numbers 24, 25 and 26 ‘3. This section and serial numbers 24, 25 and 26 of the Schedule expire on 3 December 1995. ’. ˙ Amendment of Schedule 5. Schedule— insert— ‘ 24 That part of the mainland foreshore of the waters of Deception Bay between the public boat ramp, Emerald Avenue, Deception Bay and All species of gastropod or bivalve mollusc.

Moreton Bay and the foreshore of Whyte Island between the south and south-western bank of the main channel of the Boat Passage between Fisherman Islands and Whyte Island, at low water, and the northern breakwater, Manly Boat Harbour, up to its intersection with the mainland at high water mark, but not including the foreshore west of the road bridge over the Boat Passage or the foreshore upstream of the entrance of a river or creek. 26 That part of the mainland All species of gastropod or foreshore of the waters of bivalve mollusc. ’. Bramble Bay known as Nudgee Beach bounded at the Nudgee Creek end of the foreshore by the eastern bank of the main channel of Nudgee Creek, at low water, and at the Kedron Brook Floodway end of the foreshore by the western bank of the main channel of the Kedron Brook Floodway, at low water, but not including the foreshore upstream of the entrance of Nudgee Creek and
