An Ordinance to amend the Fishing Ordinance 1967
Short title
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fishing (Amendment) Ordinance 1984.1
Commencement
2. This Ordinance shall come into operation on 22 August 1984.
Principal Ordinance
3. In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Fishing Ordinance 1967.2
Grant of licences
4. Section 22 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub‑section (1) “a fee of Two dollars” and substituting “the fee determined by the Minister under section 39A for the purposes of this sub-section”.
5. After section 39 of the Principal Ordinance the following section is inserted:
Power of Minister to determine fees
“39A. The Minister may, by notice in writing published in the Gazette, determine fees for the purposes of this Ordinance.”.
