Fisheries (Scallop) Regulations 2000
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are—
(a)
to revoke certain regulations relating to scallops in the Fisheries Regulations 1998; and
(b)
to make other minor amendments to the Fisheries Regulations 1998.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995.
3. Revocation of definition of "crate tag" and definition of "sack tag"
In regulation 105(2) of the Fisheries Regulations

(a) the definition of "crate tag" is revoked; and
(b) the definition of "sack tag" is revoked.4. Omission of "crate tag"and "sack tag" in regulation 301
In regulation 301(2) of the Fisheries Regulations 1998, in paragraphs (g) and (h) omit ", sack tag, crate tag".
5. Amendments to regulation 319
In regulation 319 of the Fisheries Regulations 1998, sub-regulations (2), (3)(a), (3)(f) to (k), (3)(n) to (r) and (3)(u) are revoked.
