Fisheries Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Fisheries Act 1952.

After regulation 12b of the Fisheries Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Prescribed agreement for purposes of paragraph 13ba (2) (b) of Act

“12ba. For the purposes of paragraph 13ba (2) (b) of the Act, the agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of the United States of America on access of commercial fishing vessels to Australian ports that is constituted by an exchange of notes dated 10 April, and 10 May, 1984 is a prescribed agreement between Australia and another country.”.
