REGULATIONS UNDER THE FISHERIES ACT 1952.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Fisheries Act 1952.

Amendments of the Fisheries Regulations

Licence, &c., fees.

1. Regulation 10 of the Fisheries Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words and figure “ sub-regulations (3) and ” and substituting the word “ sub-regulation ”; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (3).

Schedule.

2. The Schedule to the Fisheries Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (d) of item 2 the words “ other than a boat of the kind known as a ‘ tuna long-line vessel ’ ”; and

(b) by omitting paragraph (e) of item 2.

Further amendments of the Fisheries Regulations.

3. The Fisheries Regulations are amended as set out in the following table:—

Regulation 2 .............	Omit “ the first day of January, 1955 ”, substitute “ 1 January 1955 ”.
Regulation 3 .............	Omit from the definition of “ licencing authority ” the words and figures “ (1) of section 6a ”, substitute the figures “ 6a (1) ”. Omit from the definition of “ the Act ” the figures “-1974 ”.
