1. Objective

n	The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
a	Fisheries Regulations 1998 to exempt certain
n	carers from the requirement to hold a recreational

fishery licence.

2. Authorising provision

is	These Regulations are made under section 153 of
g	the Fisheries Act 1995.

These Regulations come into operation on

4.  Exemption from requirement to hold recreational fishery licence

ts In regulation 404(1) of the Fisheries Regulations

1

n 1998 —

e	(a) in paragraph (e), for "years." substitute
m	"years; or"; and

c	(b) after paragraph (e) insert—
o	"(f) holds a current pensioner concession
D	card or equivalent as a result of
ry	receiving a carer payment under the
ta	Commonwealth Act for the time being
in force in relation to social services.".
