1. Objective

n	The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
a	Fisheries Regulations 1998 to increase certain fees
n	and levies for recreational fishing.

ti	2. Authorising provision
la	These Regulations are made under section 153 of
is	the Fisheries Act 1995.
g	3. Commencement

L	These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2004.

a	4. Increase to recreational fishery licence fee and levies
ri	(1) For regulation 406(5) of the Fisheries Regulations
to	19981 substitute—
ic	"(5) The application fee for a group recreational
V	fishery licence is $22.00.".
