Fisheries Quota (Spanner Crab Fishery) Amendment Declaration 2020 (Qld)

1   Short title

This declaration may be cited as the Fisheries Quota (Spanner Crab Fishery) Amendment Declaration 2020.

2   Commencement

This declaration commences on 1 June 2020.

3   Declaration amended

This declaration amends the Fisheries Quota Declaration 2019.

4   Replacement of s 6 (Commercial spanner crab fishery (managed area A))

Section 6—
omit, insert—

6   Commercial spanner crab fishery (managed area A)

(1)The total quota entitlement for the commercial spanner crab fishery (managed area A) for the ITQ year (as provided for under the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, section 122(b)) starting on 1 June 2020 for spanner crabs is 891t.

(2)The total quota entitlement for the commercial spanner crab fishery (managed area A) for each ITQ year (as defined in the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, section 97) starting on or after 1 July 2021 for spanner crabs is 847t.
