  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Fisheries Management (Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery) Amendment Regulations 2010 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Fisheries Management (Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery) Regulations 2006

Schedule 1 amends the Fisheries Management (Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery) Regulations 2006.

insert

  1. Fishing season

Each of the following periods is a fishing season:

(a)the period starting on 1 July 2010 and ending at the end of 31 January 2012; and

(b)each subsequent period starting on 1 February in a year and ending at the end of 31 January in the following year.
