1  Name

This instrument is the Fisheries Management (Small Pelagic Fishery Total Allowable Catch – Quota Species) Fishing Capacity Determination 2018.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3  Cessation

This instrument is repealed on 1 May 2019 unless earlier revoked.

4  Authority

This instrument is made pursuant to paragraph 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 under section 17 of the Small Pelagic Fishery Management Plan.

5  Definitions

Note:          A term used in this instrument that is defined for the purposes of the:

(a)   Fisheries Management Act 1991 has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in that Act

(b)     Small Pelagic Fishery Management Plan 2009 has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in that Plan.

6  Determination of total allowable catch

The total allowable catch for each quota species in the fishery for the 2018 fishing season commencing on 1 May 2018 and ending on 30 April 2019 is:
