2  Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after this instrument is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 41A(3) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991.

4  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Fisheries Management (Northern Prawn Fishery Limited-take and Prohibited-take Species) Direction 2021

1          Subsection 8(g)

Omit the subsection, substitute:

Insert:

(g)        for scampi in the period commencing on the day this instrument commences and ending at 2230 hours UTC on 30 November 2022.
