Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Fisheries Management Act 1994.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prohibit the importation into New South Wales of live
Pacific Oysters except under the authority of a permit issued by the Minister.
This Regulation is made under the Fisheries Management Act 1994, including sections

217 (1) and 289 (the general regulation making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Fisheries Management (General) Amendment
(Pacific Oysters) Regulation 2012.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.
