The Fisheries Scientific Committee established under the Fisheries Management Act 1994, in pursuance of section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994, makes the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to restore the listing of certain species of fish as critically endangered species in
Part 1 of Schedule 4A to the Fisheries Management Act 1994. The species were listed as critically
endangered species on 13 May 2016 by the Fisheries Management Amendment (Threatened Species
Conservation) Order 2016 (the original Order), but were inadvertently omitted from the Schedule by
amendments made by the Fisheries Management Amendment Act 2015. Those amendments were enacted
before the commencement of the original Order but were not commenced until 22 July 2016.
This Order is made under section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994.
