Fisheries Management Amendment

(Threatened Species Conservation) Order

(No 2) 2014

Fisheries Management Act 1994

The Fisheries Scientific Committee established under the Fisheries Management Act 1994, in
pursuance of section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994, makes the following Order.

Explanatory note
Part 7A of the Fisheries Management Act 1994 deals with the conservation of threatened species, populations and ecological communities of fish and marine vegetation. For the purposes of identification and classification, provision is made for the listing of species, populations, ecological communities and key threatening processes.
The object of this Order is to give effect to the final determination of the Fisheries Scientific Committee to
list the Alpine Redspot Dragonfly, Austropetalia tonyana, as a vulnerable species.
This Order is made under section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994.

2      Commencement
