The Fisheries Scientific Committee established under the Fisheries Management Act 1994, in pursuance of section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994, makes the following Order.

Explanatory note
Part 7A of the Fisheries Management Act 1994 deals with the conservation of threatened species, populations and ecological communities of fish and marine vegetation. For the purposes of identification and classification, provision is made for the listing of species, populations, ecological communities and key threatening processes.
The object of this Order is to give effect to the final determinations of the Fisheries Scientific Committee:
| (a) | to omit Notopala sublineata (Conrad, 1850), river snail, as an endangered species from Part 1 of Schedule 4 to the Act, and |
| (b) | to list Galaxias tantangara (Raadik, 2014), Stocky Galaxias, Notopala hanleyi (Frauenfeld, 1864), Hanley’s River Snail and Notopala sublineata (Conrad, 1850), Darling River Snail, as critically endangered species in Part 1 of Schedule 4A to the Act. |
This Order is made under section 220D of the Fisheries Management Act 1994.

2 Commencement
This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Fisheries Management Act 1994 No 38
(1) Schedule 4 Endangered species, populations and ecological communities Omit the following from Part 1:
Notopala sublineata (Conrad, 1850) river snail
(2) Schedule 4A Critically endangered species and ecological communities Insert in alphabetical order in Part 1 under the heading “Fish”:
Galaxias tantangara (Raadik, 2014) Stocky Galaxias Notopala hanleyi (Frauenfeld, 1864) Hanley’s River Snail Notopala sublineata (Conrad, 1850) Darling River Snail
