FISHERIES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for Fisheries, and in pursuance of section 42 of the Fisheries Management Act 1994, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 1 to that Act by omitting the descriptions of the following fisheries:

Estuary general fishery
Estuary prawn trawl fishery
Ocean trap and line fishery

Ocean fish trawl fishery

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to omit the descriptions of 4 fisheries from Schedule 1 to the Fisheries Management Act 1994 so that the fisheries will no longer be designated as share management fisheries. The fisheries to be omitted are the estuary general fishery, the estuary prawn trawl fishery, the ocean trap and line fishery and the ocean fish trawl fishery.

This Proclamation is made under section 42 of the Fisheries Management Act 1994.
