Fisheries (Mallacoota Top Lake) Regulations 2001

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prohibit
the use of commercial fishing equipment in the

Top Lake at Mallacoota.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995.

3.  Prohibition on use of commercial fishing equipment in the Top Lake at Mallacoota

After regulation 507(1)(j)(v) of the Fisheries
Regulations 19981 insert—

"(va) in the waters of the Top Lake at Mallacoota

and the Narrows, north west of a line
commencing at Snapper Point and ending at

Bucklands jetty; or".
