the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Fisheries Levy Act 1984.

Citation
1. These Regulations may
be cited as the Fisheries Levy (North West Shelf Deep-water Trawl Fishery)
Regulations.
Prescribed class of
endorsements
2. The following class of
endorsements is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 5 (b) of the Fisheries Levy Act 1984, namely
endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries
Act 1952 on licences in respect of boats granted under subsection 9 (2) or
(3) of the last-mentioned Act that are endorsements to extend the licences so
as to authorise use of those boats in the area of waters to which Fisheries
Notice No. 204 made under subsection 8 (1) of the last-mentioned Act applies
and in respect of fish specified in that Notice.
Amount of levy
3. For the purposes of
subsection 6 (1) of the Fisheries Levy
Act 1984, $1,670 is specified as the amount of levy in respect of an
endorsement included in the class of endorsements prescribed by regulation 2.
