Fisheries Levy (Gemfish Fishery) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Fisheries Levy Act 1984.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 May 1990.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Fisheries Levy (Gemfish Fishery) Regulations.

Interpretation

3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting the definition of “plan of management” and substituting the following definition:

“ ‘plan of management’means the Gemfish Fishery Management Plan determined by the Minister on 14 March 1990 under subsection 7b(1) of the Fisheries Act 1952 and notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 22 March 1990;”.

Amount of Levy

4. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “2.5 cents” and substituting “13.5 cents”.
