Fisheries Levy (East Coast Tuna Purse Seine Fishery)

Regulations 2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Fisheries Levy Act 1984.

1.   Amendment

1.1 The Fisheries Levy (East Coast Tuna Purse Seine Fishery)

 Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

2. Regulation 4

(Amount of levy—subsection 6 (1) of the Act)

2.1Paragraph 4 (a):

Omit “$2,000”, substitute “$2,500”.

2.2 Paragraph 4(b):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$1,600”.

2.3 Paragraph 4 (c):

Omit “$2,000”, substitute “$1,500”.

2.4 Paragraph 4 (d):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$825”.

2.5 Paragraph 4 (e):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$825”.
