Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations 2009

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 .30 November 2009

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations 2009 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the seventh day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Fisheries (General and Fees) Regulations 2006 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 1 amended (Licence fees) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after subparagraph (ii) in paragraph (k) of item 19 in Part 1 the following items:

(l) fishing licence (octopus)

(i) renewal

4 750 fee units

(ii) transfer

250 fee units

(iii) variation

50 fee units

These regulations are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
