Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Amendment Regulations 2021

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Regulations 2017 to remove all references to Gippsland Lakes Fishery Access Licences as these licences no longer exist.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 151 and 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 16 December 2021.

4Levies on access licences

Regulation 19(1)(i) of the Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Regulations 2017[1] is revoked.

5Schedule 2—Application and transfer fees for commercial fishery licences

Item 9 of Schedule 2 to the Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Regulations 2017 is revoked.

6Schedule 3—Levies for access licences

Item 10 of Schedule 3 to the Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Regulations 2017 is revoked.

7Schedule 7—Levies for grants made under section 151(5) of the Act

Item 11 of Schedule 7 to the Fisheries (Fees, Royalties and Levies) Regulations 2017 is revoked.
