The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees specified in relation to the administration and processing of various fishing registrations, licences and permits specified in the Fisheries Act 1968.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 15, 22 and 81 of the Fisheries Act 1968.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 April
1997.
4. Fees
In the Fisheries (Fees) Regulations 19921, for the
Schedule substitute—

2 Under section 15(1)(g) of the Fisheries Act 1968, the minimum fee payable
for a crayfish licence is $100.00.
3 Under section 22(1A) of the Fisheries Act 1968, the fee payable for an
amateur netting licence is $35.00.
