Fisheries (East Coast Trawl) Amendment Management Plan (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This management plan may be cited as the Fisheries (East Coast Trawl) Amendment Management Plan (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Management plan amended This management plan amends the Fisheries (East Coast Trawl) Management Plan 1999. 3 Amendment of s 25 (Prohibited activities and regulated periods) (1) Section 25(1), after ‘period for the waters’— insert— ‘or after the relevant closure day for the waters’. (2) Section 25(3), after ‘relevant regulated period’— insert— ‘or after the relevant closure day’. (3) Section 25(4)— insert— ‘ relevant closure day means— (a) for regulated waters mentioned in schedule 3, part 2, sections 5, 7 and 15—midday on 20 September 2011; and (b) for regulated waters mentioned in schedule 3, part 2, sections 6, 8 and 16—midday on 20 September 2010.’. 4 Amendment of sch 3 (Particular regulated waters) (1) Schedule 3, section 5(2)— omit, insert— ‘(2) The regulated periods for the waters are— (a) from midday on 1 November 2008 to midday on 3 January 2009; and Page 2 2008 SL No. 352

(3) Schedule 3, part 2, division 1— insert — ‘6 Hervey Bay scallop replenishment area B ‘(1) Waters within the following boundary— • from latitude 24º40.00' south, longitude 152º50.00' east to latitude 24º40.00' south, longitude 153º00.00' east • to latitude 24º30.00' south, longitude 153º00.00' east • to latitude 24º30.00' south, longitude 152º50.00' east • to latitude 24º40.00' south, longitude 152º50.00' east. ‘(2) The regulated period for the waters is from midday on 1 November 2008 to midday on 3 January 2010.’. (8) Schedule 3, section 15(3)— omit. (9) Schedule 3, section 16(2)— omit, insert— ‘(2) The regulated period for the waters is from midday on 1 November 2008 to midday on 3 January 2010.
