(Repeal of the Fish Marketing Authority (Elections) Regulation 1979

and the Fish Marketing Regulation 1980)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 31 October 1994.

Repeals

2. The Fish Marketing Authority (Elections) Regulation 1979 and the

Fish Marketing Regulation 1980 are repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Fish Marketing Authority (Elections)

Regulation 1979 and the Fish Marketing Regulation 1980 as a consequence of the sale on 31 October 1994 of the Fish Marketing Authority.

This Regulation is made under the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935, including

section 120 (the general regulation-making power).
