FISHERIES AND OYSTER FARMS ACT 1935—REGULATION

(Relating to the quota fee for permits in respect of the abalone, sea urchin

and turban shell restricted fishery)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 15 October 1993.

Amendment

2. The Fisheries and Oyster Farms (General) Regulation 1989 is amended by omitting from clause 20 (1) (a) the matter “$6,625” and by inserting instead the matter “$7,625”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to increase the quota fee payable for the issue or renewal of a permit in respect of the abalone, sea urchin and turban shell restricted

fishery.

This Regulation is made under the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935,

including section 120 (2) (d) (relating to permit fees).
