FISHERIES AND OYSTER FARMS ACT 1935—REGULATION

(Relating to fees for issue or renewal of fishermen’s licences)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1st July, 1993.

Amendment

2. The Fisheries and Oyster Farms (General) Regulation 1989 is

amended by omitting from clause 11 (2) the matter “$200” and by
inserting instead the matter “$275”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Fisheries and Oyster Farms

(General) Regulation 1989 to increase the fee for the issue or renewal of a

fisherman’s licence (other than a block fisherman's licence) from $200 to $275.

This Regulation is made under the Fisheries and Oyster Farms Act 1935,

including section 25 (13).
