FISHERIES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO. 3) 1992
Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Amendment Regulations
(No. 3) 1992.
Regulation 3AB amended
2. Regulation 3AB of the Fisheries Regulations 1938* is amended —
(b) in the Schedule to that regulation by —
(i) deleting "australis" from the item in Part A commencing
with "Bream" and substituting the following —latus (a)
subregulation — by repealing subregulation (3) and substituting the following (3) A person who takes any species of fish the names of which are listed in Division 4 of Part B of the Schedule to this regulation over a period during which he has lived on board a boat shall not bring into Western Australian waters or on land any fish in excess of the number or quantity, as the case may be, that is the product of the number or quantity of fish prescribed by this regulation in relation to those species of fish and the number of days in the period during which he has lived on board the boat.

(ii) inserting after the item in Part A commencing with "Skipjack trevally" the following —
Snapper, red (Centroberyx gerrardi) 20 (iii) deleting both items in Part A commencing with "Cod";
(iv) deleting "Cods (Serranidae family) 4" in Division 1 of Part B and substituting the following —

(a) (Serranidae family) 4 (b) (Epinephelus spp., in excess of 30 kg weight or of 1 200 mm in length) 0 ";
(v) deleting the item commencing with "Snapper, red" in Division 2 of Part B; and
(vi) deleting "Cephlopods" from the first item in Division 3 of Part B and substituting the following —
" Cephalopods ".
