Fisheries Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Fisheries Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2008 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 6 October 2008. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Fisheries Regulation 2008. 4 Insertion of new ch 13, pt 4 After section 642— insert— ‘Part 4 Other matters ‘642A Prescribed fishing apparatus—Act, s 14 ‘(1) For section 14(3) of the Act, definition prescribed fishing apparatus , paragraph (b), a fish trap is a prescribed fishing apparatus. ‘(2) In this section— fish trap means a structure made predominantly from stone or organic material that creates a holding area designed to capture a small quantity of fish. ‘642B Prescribed waters—Act, s 14 ‘For section 14(3) of the Act, definition prescribed waters , paragraph (b), the following regulated waters are prescribed— • Coombabah Lake and Coombabah Creek • Swan Bay • Wolf Rock (grey nurse shark protection area) Page 2 2008 SL No. 329
