AN ACT to continue the operation of section thirty-

six A of the Fisheries Act, 1905-1947.

[Assented to 11th November, 1948.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Fisheries Act Amend- Short title

ment (Continuance) Act, 1948, and shall be read as one with the Fisheries Act, 1905-1947 (Act No. 18 of 1905 reprinted with amendments to and including No. 35 of 1940 incorporated, pursuant to the Amendments Incor- poration Act, 1938, in Volume 2 of the Reprinted Acts of the Parliament of Western Australia and further

amended by Acts Nos. 22 of 1946 and 39 of 1947), here-

inafter referred to as the principal Act.

3. Section thirty-six A of the principal Act is amended A mendme " t °I

by substituting for the words "forty-eight" in subsection

(5), line three, the words "forty-nine."
