2. From and after the passing of this Act nothing in the Act twenty-eighth Victoria number ten shall prevent the use of a net solely for prawn fishing provided the same shall not exceed fifteen fathoms in length nor shall prevent the use of a fishing net longer than ninety fathoms provided the meshes of the same throughout its whole length are when wet not less than four inches and provided that the same be not fixed or staked. No. XI.

by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Fisheries Act of 1865 Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty

Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1. The sixth section of the Act twenty-eighth Victoria number

ten is hereby repealed.
