(Relating to the price of water supplied by the Administrator of Fish River
Water Supply )

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Fish River Water Supply Administration Act
1945, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Regulation 1991 is amended:
by omitting from clause 2 (2) the words “, and in each succeeding
year commencing on 1 January,”;
by inserting after clause 2 (2) the following subclause:(3) The price to be paid by a council for water supplied to the council by the Administrator in the year commencing on 1 January 1994, and in each succeeding year commencing on 1 January, is 33.0 cents per kilolitre.
by omitting from clause 3 (2) the matter “, and in each succeeding
year commencing on 1 January,”;
by inserting after clause 3 (2) the following subclause: (2) The minimum amount to be paid by a council for the supply of water in the year commencing on 1 January 1994, and in each succeeding year commencing on 1 January, irrespective of the quantity of water supplied is:

(a)
in the case of the Council of the City of Greater Lithgow—$690,360; and
(b) in the case of Oberon Council—$87,120.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to increase the price to be paid by councils for water supplied from I January 1994 by the Administrator of the Fish River Water Supply. Minimum amounts to be paid by the Council of the City of Greater Lithgow and Oberon Council (irrespective of the quantity of water supplied) are also increased to correspond with the change in price.
This Regulation is made under the Fish River Water Supply Administration Act 1945, including section 8A and section 19 (1) (the general regulation making power).
