Fish Resources Management Amendment

Regulations (No. 8) 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Fish Resources Management
Amendment Regulations (No. 8) 2015.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Fish Resources Management
Regulations 1995.

4.            Regulation 14 amended

In regulation 14(1) in the Table delete item 4.

5.            Regulation 16D amended

In regulation 16D(2) delete "regulations 16H, 161 and 16J." and insert:

waters of the Shark Bay western gulf south of 26° 13'

regulation 16H.

6. Part 4 Division 3 Subdivision 3 replaced
Delete Part 4 Division 3 Subdivision 3 and insert:

Subdivision 3 — Possession limits in Freycinet Estuary

Management Zone

16G. Term used: Freycinet Estuary Management Zone

In this Subdivision —
Freycinet Estuary Management Zone means the

south latitude, excluding the waters of Useless Inlet and Blind Inlet, and includes the adjacent land area west of Shark Bay Road and north of Useless Loop Road.

1611.       Finfish in Freycinet Estuary Management Zone

For the purposes of section 51(1) of the Act, the maximum quantity of finfish that a person may be in possession of in the Freycinet Estuary Management Zone is —

(a)	5 kg of fillets of fish; or
(b)	one day's bag limit of whole fish or fish trunks.

7.            Schedule 1 amended

Delete Schedule 1 Part 3 item 7.

8.            Schedule 2 amended

In Schedule 2 Part 2 Division 3 Subdivision 2 delete the

2nd Table.
