Fish Resources Management Amendment

Regulations (No. 4) 2007

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.           Citation

These regulations are the Fish Resources Management
Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2007.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

or giant crab.

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 January 2008.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Fish Resources
Management Regulations 1995.

4.            Regulation 38A amended

Regulation 38A is amended by deleting the definition of -deep sea crab" and inserting instead

"deep sea crab" means a champagne crab, crystal crab

5. Schedule 2 amended
Schedule 2 Part 2 Division 5 is amended as follows:

(a)	by deleting the items for "Crab, Giant (King)" and "Crab, Spiny";
(b)	by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical positions

mid-ventral line of the carapace to the posterior
margin where it joins the abdomen.
