Fish Resources Management Amendment
Regulations 2015
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Fish Resources Management
Amendment Regulations 2015.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day. 3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Fish Resources Management
Regulations 1995.
4. Regulation 3 amended
(1) In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of fillet and insert: fillet means any part or piece of a finfish, other than the
following —
(a) a detached backbone; (b) a detached wing; (c) a fin; (d) a fish trunk; (e) a head; (f) a product of gilling or gutting the fish; (g) a tail; (h) a whole fish;

(2) In regulation 3(1) in the definition of gear identification
number delete paragraph (a)(ii) and insert:
(ii) regulation 124(4)(b)(iii) on a receipt
issued to the person under
regulation 124(3) for an application for
the grant or renewal of a recreational
fishing licence;
5. Part 3 deleted
Delete Part 3.
6. Regulation 16D amended
In regulation 161)(2) delete "161, 16J and 16M." and insert:
161 and 16J.
7. Regulation 16E amended
(1) In regulation 16E(l) delete the definition of single-sided fl/let (2) In regulation 16E(1) in the definition of day trip delete 'day;"
and insert:day. (3) Delete regulation 16E(3D). 8. Regulation 44A amended
In regulation 44A(l) delete the definition offreshwaterfish and insert:
freshwater fish means any of the following fish - (a) Freshwater Cobbler; (b) Redfin Perch (English or European); (c) Brown Trout; (d) Rainbow Trout.
9. Regulation 64Q amended
In regulation 64Q in the Table delete item 2 and insert:

At the end of regulation 124B(4) insert:
Penalty: a fine of $2 000.
11. Regulation 158 amended
In regulation 158 in the Table under the heading Provisions of these regulations" delete "18,".
12. Schedule 2 amended
(1) In Schedule 2 Part 1 delete "Western rock lobster less than
77 mm in length." and insert:Western rock lobster less than 77 mm in length in any area of the West Coast Rock Lobster Managed Fishery.
