Fish Resources Management Amendment
Regulations 2004
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the Fish Resources
Management Amendment Regulations 2004.
2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Fish Resources
Management Regulations 1995*.[* Reprint 4 as at 14 November 2003. For amendments to 16 December 2003 see Gazette
28 November 2003.]
3. Regulation 38G amended
Regulation 38G is amended in paragraph (a) of the definition of
“closed season” as follows:
(a)
by deleting “2003” and inserting instead — “ 2004 ”;
(b)
by deleting “24 January” and inserting instead — “ 23 January ”;
(c)
by deleting “9 February;” and inserting instead — “ 8 February; ”.

4. Regulation 38JA inserted
After regulation 38J the following regulation is inserted —“
38JA. Fishing for marron in Lake Navarino (Waroona
Dam)
(1) A person must not fish for marron in the waters of
Lake Navarino (Waroona Dam) or any of its
tributaries.
Penalty: For a first offence $5 000 or, for a second orsubsequent offence, $10 000 and, for any
offence, the penalty provided in section 222 ofthe Act.
(2) This regulation ceases to have effect on
1 January 2007.”.
