Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to include Australian Unity Home Care Service Pty Ltd in the list of employers in Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992. This will mean that employees of Home Care Service of NSW whose employment is transferred to Australian Unity Home Care Service Pty Ltd pursuant to an order of the Minister for Disability Services will continue to be employees for the purposes of that Act. This Order is made under section 7 of the First State Superannuation Act 1992.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the First State Superannuation Amendment (Australian Unity Home
Care Service Pty Ltd) Order 2016.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 19 February 2016 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of First State Superannuation Act 1992 No 100

Schedule 1 Employers

Insert at the end of the Schedule:

Australian Unity Home Care Service Pty Ltd, limited to those persons whose employment was transferred to Australian Unity Home Care Service Pty Ltd in accordance with the Implementation and Sale Agreement (dated 27 August 2015) between the Crown in Right of the State of New South Wales, Australian Unity Home Care Pty Ltd and Australian Unity Limited
