I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 7 of the First State

Superannuation Act 1992, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to update the list of employers in Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation

Act 1992:

(a)	to include the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch so that employees covered by the First State Superannuation Scheme whose employment is transferred to
the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch will continue to be employees under that Scheme for the purposes of the First State Superannuation Act 1992, and
(b)	to reflect a name change from the former New South Wales Nurses’ Association to the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association that occurred on 15 August 2012.

This Order is made under section 7 of the First State Superannuation Act 1992.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the First State Superannuation Amendment (Australian Nursing and
Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch) Order 2016.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of First State Superannuation Act 1992 No 100

(1) Schedule 1 Employers

Omit “New South Wales Nurses’ Association”.

Insert instead “New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association”.
