FIRST STATE SUPERANNUATION ACT 1992—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, AC., Governor of the State
of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 7 (1) of the First State Superannuation Act 1992, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 to that Act (Employers), with effect on and from 8 December 1992, by inserting at the end of Part 1 of that Schedule the following name:

Government Pricing Tribunal of New South Wales

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Under the First State Superannuation Act 1992 employers within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions to the First State Superannuation Fund in respect of certain of their employees. Schedule 1 to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 7 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-Council, by Order, to amend the Schedule. The purpose of this Order is to amend the Schedule so as to include the

Government Pricing Tribunal of New Wales in the list of employers.
The Order will be taken to have had effect on and from 8 December 1992, the
date on which the Act commenced. (Subsection (2) of the section authorises an
Order to be made so that it has effect on and from a date that is earlier than the date
of its publication.)
