Explanatory note

Under the First State Superannuation Act 1992, employers within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions in respect of certain of their employees to the First State Superannuation Fund established under that Act.

Order 1999

Explanatory note

Schedule 1 to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 7 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-Council, by order, to amend Schedule 1, and also authorises the making of an order that takes effect on a day that is earlier than the date of its publication in the Gazette.

The object of this Order is to include in Schedule 1 as an employer the Rural Lands
Protection Boards' Association of New South Wales.

4 Amendment of Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992

Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992 is amended by
inserting the following words at the end of Part 2 of the Schedule:
