Energy) Order 2000

First State Superannuation Act 1992

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 7 of the First State Superannuation Act 1992, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The Energy Services Corporations (Eraring Energy) Regulation 2000 constitutes an electricity generator called Eraring Energy as an energy services corporation under the Energy Services Corporations Act 1995.

The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992 so as to include Eraring Energy in the list of employers whose employees are subject to the First State Superannuation Scheme established under that Act.

This Order is made under section 7 of the First State Superannuation Act 1992.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the First State Superannuation (Eraring Energy)

Order 2000.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on the date of commencement of the Energy

Services Corporations (Eraring Energy) Regulation 2000.

3 Amendment of First State Superannuation Act 1992 No 100

The First State Superannuation Act 1992 is amended by inserting

“Eraring Energy” at the end of Part 1 of Schedule 1 (Employers).

The explanatory note and the note in this Order do not form part of this Order.
