GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 7 of the First State Superannuation Act 1992, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
Coleambally Irrigation Corporation is an authority listed in Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992 and is accordingly an employer under that Act.
Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited is the current successor to Coleambally Irrigation Corporation and was privatised effective 9 June 2000 in a Government privatisation initiative.

The object of this Order is to remove the name of Coleambally Irrigation Corporation (now named Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited) from Schedule 1 as a consequence of that Government privatisation initiative.

1     Name of Order

This Order is the First State Superannuation (Coleambally Irrigation

Corporation) Order 2001.

2 Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 9 June 2000.

3 Amendment of First State Superannuation Act 1992 No 100

Omit “Coleambally Irrigation Corporation” from Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the First State Superannuation Act 1992.

4 Notes

The explanatory note in this Order does not form part of this Order.
