First Home Owner Grant Amendment Act 2015

An Act to amend the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the First Home Owner Grant Amendment Act 2015 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on 1 July 2015 but if this Act does not receive the Royal Assent by that date it is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2015. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 18C amended (Conditions on increase of grant) Section 18C(2) of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "1 July 2015" and substituting "1 January 2016"; (b) by omitting from paragraph (b)(ii)(A) "1 July 2015" and substituting "1 January 2016"; (c) by omitting from paragraph (b)(iii)(A) "1 July 2015" and substituting "1 January 2016". 5Repeal of ActThis Act is repealed on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it commences.
