The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Firearms Act 1996.

Commencement
These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.
Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Firearms Regulations.
Substitution
Regulation 10A of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted—
“10A. Temporary recognition of interstate licences
The following purpose is prescribed for subparagraph 43 (a) (ii) of the Act, namely, to conduct an air gun shooting gallery—
(a)at the National Exhibition Centre during the period commencing on 26 February 1999 and ending at the expiration of 28 February 1999 in conjunction with the Royal Canberra Show; or
(b)during the period commencing on 1 March 1999 and ending at the expiration of 21 March 1999 in conjunction with the Canberra National Multicultural Festival.”.
