If Parliament passes a resolution disallowing any such Order in Council or regulation of which resolution notice has been given at any time within fourteen sitting days of such House after such Order in Council or regulation has been laid before it, such Order in Council or regulation shall thereupon cease to have effect, but without prejudice to the validity of anything done in the meantime and without prejudice to the power to make any further or other Order in Council or regulation. 1946. FIREARMS. Firearms License Acts Amendment Act. 79 Amendment of the Principal Act. 2 The following paragraph is inserted after para- Amendment graph (c) of subsection one of section eighteen of the ofs. 18 (1). Principal Act, namely:- "(cl.) Providing for and regulating the control, custody, possession, and/or registration of, and the issue of certificates of registration for, military rifles, including rifles manu- factured for use, or (excepting any modifica- tion in the design thereof) of the same kind as rifles manufactured for use, at any time by the Naval, Military, or Air Forces of His Majesty, or of any part of His Majesty's dominions, or of any other State or country; prohibiting the possession of any such rifle required to be registered and not so registered, and providing for the seizure and forfeiture thereof; providing for and regulating the form and manner of, and the information to be supplied in respect of, applications for registration, and the form and manner of registration and/or of certificates of registration; and applying such regulations to the whole of the State, or limiting the same to such part or parts of the State as may from time to time be specified in such regulations. No such regula- tion shall impose any fee or charge for or in respect of any application for registration, or registration, or certificate of registration of any such rifle." FOOTWEAR. See HEALTH.
