AN ACT to amend the Firearms and Guns

Act, 1931-1956.

[Assented to 21st October, 1960.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Firearms

Short title

and citation.

and Guns Act Amendment Act, 1960.

2. Section nine of the principal Act is amended by adding after paragraph (f) the following para- graph

(g)

who being an employee of a primary producer, with the permission of his employer, has in his possession on the employer's land for the purpose of destroy- ing vermin thereon a firearm belonging to the employer.

In this paragraph, "land" means land used by the employer for the purposes of primary production.
