Firearms Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2000

Made by the Administrator in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Firearms Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2000.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Firearms
Regulations 1974*.

3.             Regulation 22 replaced

in the form of Form 25A in Schedule 1.

Regulation 22 is repealed and the following regulation is inserted instead —

22.          Search warrants

(1) A complaint to ground a search warrant under
section 26(1) of the Act is to be made in the form of
Form 24 in Schedule 1 and the search warrant is to be
in the form of Form 24A in Schedule 1.
(2) A complaint to ground a search warrant under
section 26(2) of the Act is to be made in the form of
Form 25 in Schedule 1 and the search warrant is to be

4.            Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended by deleting Forms 24 and 25 and inserting instead -
